Yesterday I shared with you about the "She's About To Pop" baby shower that I recently threw for my sister in law.
I knew when I was planning the shower that I wanted to make some cupcake stands. I had seen them at The TomKat Studio as a guest post made by Jessica at Modern Moments Designs at the beginning of the year.
It's amazing that you can take supplies like this

and end up with something that looks like this!

You can find the tutorial here

I also used my silhouette machine to make custom cupcake wrappers for the cupcakes. I was able to fit three wrappers per page and glued them together. As they dried I held them together with a clothespin.

They were the perfect addition to the dress the cupcake up.

We also offered a candy table. I found these drab containers at a garage sale and with a coat of coordinating paint they went from this to

this!

Sometimes it's the little details that make all the difference!
Stay tuned for more tomorrow!
I love love love these mini cupcake stands!! Too stinkin' cute!!
ReplyDeleteI love those little stands. I did something similar for my boys' birthday party I recently did for them. I'm your newest follower and can't wait to see what else you come up with.
