Keens shoe review

During the summer, we spend a lot of time on the water.
We live on the Puget Sound in the Pacific Northwest and I never stop pinching myself that I live so close to the water and the amazing views, especially during the warmer months.

For years, part of our kids summer wardrobe has been a pair of Keen's sandals.
KEEN Newport Navy

Most of the beaches we go to are rocky beaches, and these sandals are easy for them to put on and they help to protect their feet.  They are also nearly indestructible!  Even after daily wear in and out of the water, they still look as good as they did the moment they came out of the box.

A few years ago, our youngest (he was nearly five at the time) wanted to try wake boarding.
We didn't have a board that was his size or bindings, so we decided to pop him in his Keen's and put him on the board with his Dad!
He loved it!

We haven't broadened our horizon's outside of Keen's sandals, but just a few months ago, I found this site and realized that Keen's have more than just summer sandals.

My little wake boarder, got himself a new pair of school shoes.
Perfect for walking the dog on the way to school!

While I was hunting down some new athletic shoes for my little guy, I thought I would check out some of the women's shoes.
Remember how I told you that the beaches here are rocky?
Case in point!

KEEN Mercer Ballerina CNX Mimosa
I found the cutest pair of ballerina flats in the coolest mimosa color.
Perfect for looking cute at the beach but practical as I chase down my three kids and a dog!

Even on dreary days, those shoes still pop!
And they are super comfortable!
I wore them on the beach, as I climbed driftwood, in the water, and running up the hill back to the car.

I'm thinking I may need a whole collection of keen's sandals this summer!

What do you think?
Have you or your family members ever tried Keen's?
Do you love them as much as I do?
