Garage Sale Finds Friday

Welcome to another week of garage sale finds Friday, where I share with you my finds from the week.
This week, we fought off rain to hit some sales and I found some scores.
Want to see?

I have a thing for crates.  I have old dynamite crates, wood crates, and coke crates.
So, when I saw this Dr. Pepper crate for $1, I had to buy it.  Coke crates are easier to come by, but I've never seen a Dr. Pepper crate.  And to make it even more fun, I have a small glass Dr. Pepper bottle from a garage sale last year.

I also have a thing for church pews.  I picked up a pew last year for $3.  You can read more about that here.  I was excited when I found this pew for $15.
It has a crack that needs some repairing, but after a coat of paint, I think it's going to be as good as new.

I love finding craft supplies at garage sales.
I picked up these two new display cases for $1.  I have big plans for them.
Stay tuned.

Because I garage sale, I also have a running list of things to find for other people.
A few years ago, I picked up a bounce house for my kids for $30.  Since then, I can't even tell you how many people have wanted me to pick up bounce houses for them for $30.
Well, I got an even better deal on this bounce house.
It was FREE!
The blower needs a little work (good thing I'm married to an engineer), but the bounce house is in perfect condition otherwise.
Score!

So what did you find this week?

  3. You got some really great stuff!! I don't think there is anything better than finding something at a garage sale, or goodwill that would cost you 4 times as much at an antique store, and you can fashion them anyway for your home. Awesome!

  4. I've been wanting a soda crate forever, and have always pictured a pew as a bench for our kitchen table. Great finds!
