Just last week, I took a little blogging break to enjoy some sunshine on a vacation in Puerto Vallarta with my husband. It was a delightful five day trip where we got to enjoy one another while the kids stayed at home with Grandma and Grandpa.
We stayed at the Riu Palace Pacifico in Neuvo Vallarta. The Riu is an all inclusive resort with properties not only Mexico, but all over the world. This is my second stay at a Riu resort, and I would recommend it to anyone!
My husband outdid himself booking this vacation. He made all of the arrangements on his own and took care of all of the details. He also did his homework on this particular resort and booked us an amazing room! The hotel only has four rooms like the one we stayed in. Ours was by far in the best location on the far right corner, able to take in unbelievable sweeping ocean views.
Take a closer look. The room was actually two stories! I cropped this picture below to show you the span of the whole room.
There was a spiral staircase leading up to the second floor private patio.
This is the picture of the room itself. Not pictured is the hallway that contained a huge walk in closet, fully stocked bar and beautiful picture window framing the ocean.
There was an indoor Jacuzzi tub as well as a spa shower
Upstairs had a private balcony patio that was about 900 square feet.
It also had a private outdoor Jacuzzi perfect for watching the sunset (disclaimer: the picture is from the Riu website...not of us or some creepy couple crashing out hotel room...gross)
Wowwww.... That resort is absolutely beautiful!! That is something you only see in magazines or the movies. I'm so jealous! lol Hope you have a great time!
