I bought this black faux fur material last summer at a garage sale for less than a dollar. Honestly, I don't remember, because I bought it and had no plans for it, so it didn't stick in my mind as a momentous event. Anyway, I started seeing a lot of faux fur vest popping up at stores, and while I would have like to have done this in white, I had the black, so I got started. It was quite simple and literally took me less than 15 minutes!
I used one of my old vests as a pattern. Above you will see how I cut out the back piece on the fold, and then below the two front pieces were cut out.
And this is it! Tres chic, right?!
My family is heading up to Whistler next week for a ski vacation. Wouldn't this be perfect?!
